Meetings are on the 2nd Thursday of the month at noon at the Sitka Fire Department (747-3233). There are special needs populations that need community organization that you can be a part of creating and maintaining, such as: Elderly, People with physical disabilities, People with mental health disabilities, those with hearing or visual impairments, pets, etc.
Volunteer with the local Red Cross (623-0996) or the Salvation Army (747-3358).
