How long are the webinars?
Webinars are approximately 45 minutes long with a 15 minute question segment. |
Will the webinars be recorded?
Yes, all webinars will be recorded and posted to the CBS YouTube page approximately one week after the webinar. |
Will the slides be available?
Slides will not be made directly, the information in the webinars will be available across the the education module webpages. To request specific slides, please email sustainability@cityofsitka.org |
Will I need to turn on my camera/will I be recorded?
No, the webinar series utilizes Zoom's webinar platform. Participants are view-only and cannot turn their cameras or see one another. If you submit a question, your name may be seen by others. |
Why do I need to register? Do I need a Zoom account to participate?
Registration is required to provide you a link to the webinar and reminders for the event. You do not need a zoom account to participate. Your email will not be shared. |
Can I ask questions?
Yes, questions are welcomed and encouraged. 15 minutes is reserved for questions after the presentation. If your question is not answered during the webinar, it will be recorded and answered in a follow up document. Questions about Sitka's energy can be sent at any time to sustainability@cityofsitka.org. |
Will there be any in-person presentations and/or events?
Yes, in-person events are being planned for later this fall and winter. If you would like to request an in-person presentation or to get updates about events, email sustainability@cityofsitka.org. |
