All matters under Item VIII Consent Agenda are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion.  There will be no separate discussion of these items.  If discussion is desired, that item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and will be considered separately.

A.      Approve the minutes of the June 26 and July 8 assembly meetings.

B.      Appointments: Appoint Williams Peters and Quinn Sharkey to terms on the Local Emergency Planning Commission, and Dan Pratt to the Sitka Community Hospital Board

C.      Waive permit fees for Southeast Alaska Guidance Association (SAGA) youth building program

D.     Approve using Chatham Electric (under a non competitive bid) to do electric line work while in Sitka

E.      Approve sole source equipment purchase from Wenger Corporation Sitka High School Auditorium technology equipment

F.      ORD. 2008-30: Zoning text change to Recreation District, Baranof Warm Springs

G.     ORD. 2008-29: Establishing a new Chapter 4.05 in Title 4 of the SGC to address the Marine Passenger Fee Fund

H.      ORD. 2008-31: Putting an advisory question on the ballot at the regular election on October 7, 2008 concerning the State of Alaska constructing and paying for a roundabout at the intersections of Lake Street, Halibut Point Road and Sawmill Creek Road

I.         ORD. 2008-32: Placing a ballot question on the regular election of October 7, 2008 to amend the Home Rule Charter of the CBS at Article 13.03 entitled "Property Tax Limit to increase the millage rate by one and one half tenths of one percent (.0015), which would then be seven and one half tenths (.0075), or seven and one half (7.5) mills

J.       ORD. 2008-26: Putting an advisory question on the ballot at the regular election on October 7, 2008 asking if the CBS should develop a plan to construct a multi-purpose dock owned by the CBS at SMCIP - 1st READING as AMENDED

K.      ORD. 2008-28: Amending SGC 2.04.010A entitled "Agenda" concerning the "Persons to be Heard" section at the beginning of the meeting

L.       ORD. 2008-27: Amending SGC 2.04.150 entitled "Appointments to Boards Commissions and Committees" regarding submitting applications and selection process

X.                  NEW BUSINESS:

M.     BOA: Approve Sitka Counseling and Prevention Services quasi-institutional housing and professional offices; 121, 131, 141, 151 Orion Lane and 111, 113, Metlakatla St.

N.      Approve Agreement and Release of all Claims regarding the Hospital Administrator - potential executive session

O.     Approve new fare schedule for taxis
